Relaxed camp (Youru Camp), Season 3 is officially in the works, as announced earlier today with special artwork. Original writer Afro commented on the announcement, saying they never thought they could go on for so long and were looking forward to the airing.
Studio C-Station animated both the anime and the movie, which was directed by Yoshiaki Kyougoku and premiered earlier this year. Mutsumi Sasaki designed the characters, while Mutsumi Ito and Jin Tanaka wrote the script. Tanaka also worked on the TV anime and Ito composed the series for Camp Room (Camp Heya) side story. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in Winter 2018, the second in Winter 2021. Crunchyroll co-financed the anime and also streamed it.
Relaxed camp is based on a manga by Afro, which began serialization in 2015. The manga has 12 volumes, with Yen Press publishing the English translation and describes the plot as follows:
Pitching a tent, lighting a fire and eating noodles with Mount Fuji in sight… Rin and Nadeshiko love camping! Take advantage of their taste for travel and maybe even pick up a tip or two on roughing it outdoors. You might just want to go camping yourself!
