Tentrr offers a new way to camp in Mississippi State Parks

Residents of Mississippi and beyond can now camp at one of Mississippi’s eight state parks and rent a ready-made campsite that includes a large tent with a bed, fire pit, barbecue, table picnic and even a pop-up for four people. tent for guests.

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, in conjunction with Tentrr, recently announced that 56 fully serviced campsites will be available for reservation at eight of Mississippi’s state parks.

These park sites are available at Buccaneer, Clarkco, JP Coleman, LeFleur’s Bluff, Percy Quin, Roosevelt, Tishomingo, and Wall Doxey.

Customers have the choice of single or dual sites. Single pitches can accommodate up to six people and double sites – or twin sites – can accommodate up to 12 people.

“We are thrilled to announce this special partnership with Tentrr, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to experience our state’s incredible parks like never before,” said Andre Hollis, park operations manager. “We also hope it inspires our guests to further explore Magnolia State and enjoy an outdoor recreation experience.”

Tentrr’s fully equipped, ready-to-use campsites are the new way to experience the great outdoors.

Reservations can be made up to six months in advance. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held in March to honor this new initiative.

To celebrate this new initiative, Tentrr and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in March. More information to follow.
